whoever said summer sem is slack was obviously very misinformed.
(actually, i think i'm the one who said that......hmmm.)
well, it aint slack...its a BITCH!
for starters, i have a dick for a tutor. and he teaches BOTH my summer sem subjects. ho boy.
for some reason, he believes that studying and doing projects outside of uni is more "interesting" than working in the studio. does he realise its frickin 40 degrees outside!?!? he may want to savor the summer weather, but most of us summer sem students are from asia and we live in the humidity capital of the world...we dont need MORE time in the baking sun!!
he also has this inate ability to complicate things. take for example our latest project. he wants us to record a 3 minute critique on a building and burn it on a CD. i mean, COME ON!!! just let us present the damn thing live to you!! its only 3 bloody minutes!! but wait.....he's not done yet. THEN, he says he wants it on an "I Tunes" format, cos he uses a MAC computer. SCREW U man! the other 95% of the human population uses PC. just cos YOU have an APPLE doesnt mean everyone else has to conform to your bloody system requirements!
there's more....oh there's more....but im late for class now. just as well or else i might start spurting out F-bombs.
