the ladder theory

a friend of mine told me of this theory about relationships, but more specifically about relationships that do or do not sprout from friendships.

its called the Ladder Theory, and i have to say its the damned most accurate relationship theory ive ever heard. Well, actually it's more accurate if u are a guy. If you're a girl u may be offended by this theory, so im just gonna give u a WARNING now so that u dont sue me.

here goes.

Guys have ONE ladder. its called the f**k ladder. ( or relationship ladder, if f**k ladder sounds too crude. hey, im just telling it the way it was told to me) anyways, every girl that he meets, he places them on this ladder. the higher up the ladder they are, the more he wants to be in a relationship with her. Remember, ALL girls that guys meet are placed somewhere on this ladder, EVEN FRIENDS ARE ON THIS LADDER SOMEWHERE. girls that he doesnt see ANYthing attractive in, he places them below the ladder, in the abyss. So you see, any girl can move up or down a guy's ladder. The determinants of this movt varies from guy to guy. (some guys like talkative girls, so if a girl he knew for a long time suddenly became the talkative type, she might move up the ladder. you get the idea...)

Now comes the interesting part.

Girls have TWO ladders. just like guys, they have a f**k ladder. BUT they also have a FRIEND ladder. when a girl meets a guy, she either places him on the f**k ladder or the friend ladder. Thing is, the guy doesnt know which ladder he's on! If he's on the f**k ladder, then good for him. if he plays his cards right, he could move up the ladder and maybe one day win her heart. BUT, ( and here comes the MOST impt bit) if a guy is on the friend ladder, he can NEVER by his own actions get onto the f**k ladder. if he really really likes the girl, and tries to elevate their friendship to the next level, he could end up crashing and burning if he was on her friend ladder, not her f**k ladder. when a guy is blinded by love, the f**k ladder always seems within reach. It seems that its possible to leap from the friend ladder onto the f**k ladder. but this is NOT TRUE. guys that try this leap wiil not make it and fall into the abyss.
ONLY a girl can move the guys she pleases from her friend ladder to her f**k ladder. BUT, as mentioned before, the guy is not aware of this. soooooo, the moral here is....it sucks to be a guy sometimes. if u really like a friend of yours, and think that you two can have a more serious relationship, BE CAREFUL!!! U MAY BE WRONG!!! u could be on her friend ladder!!!! if u leap, u will fall into the abyss!!!!! and once you're in the abyss, u cannot be on both ladders.
